Numerical analysis of influence of multi-layered media with different curvature on propagation of explosive wave

摘要

The propagation characteristics of explosive wave in the multi-layered media with different curvature and shape under the air explosion of spheric explosive charge have been analyzed by numerical simulation. The pressure and energy curves versus time for different models are given. The results show that explosion energy is accumulated, and the stress of layered media increases for the concave media comparing with the flat media. On the contrary, the explosion energy is sparse and the stress peak value decreases quickly in a short time for the convex media. So it can be concluded that the surface curvature and shape of multi-layered media change the propagation direction of explosive wave and flowing direction of energy. It plays an important role on the amplification and reduction of stress peak of the layered media. These conclusions will provide a reference for the design of ammunition and anti-detonating structures.
