摘要
Ride comfort and road-holding are effected by the vehicle suspensions. The dual-chamber hydro-pneumatic (DCHP) suspension is a novel passive suspension system. This paper discribes the operating principle of the DCHP suspension and establishes its parametric model. Through the transfer functions comparisons between the traditional passive suspension and the DCHP suspension, it's found that the equivalent stiffness and damping coefficient can adjust their own values according to the frequency of the excitation from road surface. The multi-objective optimization of suspension parameters is implemented with NSGA-II algorithm. The results indicate that all three performance metrics of the novel system are better than those of the traditional passive suspension. The above conclusion is verified by the simulation in time domain with suspension parameters provided by the Pareto solutions.
