Inclined MIMO GEO SAR system design and performance analysis

摘要

The current design of GEO SAR system has shortcomings of extreme high power and extreme long synthetic aperture time for high inclination ones and quasi Geo-stationary ones, respectively. In order to realize a GEO SAR system with relatively low power and short synthetic aperture time, optimization task and design result of a medium inclination MIMO GEO SAR for observing China are proposed, based on application demand. Generalized Ambiguity Function (GAF) of MIMO SAR is derived to give a feasibility comparison of different constellation configurations. System parameters are designed, followed by a design with a tradeoff between antenna size and power.
