摘要

HIRFL system is the most advanced Heavy Ion Research Facility in world; to protect itssafe operation is the major responsibility of the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy ofSciences. To process the situation of possible water leakage during the operation of equipments, wedeveloped a water leakage detection system. The system can precisely detect the specific location ofwater leakage, and visually display on the computer in the control room remotely. The paperdescribes the theoretical design and practical, and assesses the effect of the field running. It has beensuccessful early warning repeatedly water leaking avoid accidents, ensure the normal operation ofthe machine, since the system established in 2010.
