High-speed Railway Bogies Welded Seam Fatigue Life Detection Using Nonlinear Ultrasonic

摘要

With the rapid development of high-speed rail, the quality of bogies plays a vital role in the safe driving of trains. Meanwhile, welding is the main manufacturing method of the bogie, and the inspection of the weld seam is particularly important. In this paper, nonlinear ultrasonic methods are used to detect bogies welded seam in various fatigue states. The changing law of ultrasonic nonlinear coefficient under different fatigue life is observed. The results show that within a certain range, with the increase of the fatigue cycle, the relative nonlinear coefficients of the second and third orders increase linearly, which proved the effectiveness of nonlinear ultrasonic testing of component fatigue life and internal micro-cracks.
