title = "Fully Polarimetric Radar Observing Insects Flight",
abstract = "In the aeroecology, radar is a very effective method for aerial observation. Based on the need for observing the individual aerial target, a novel fully polarimetric insect radar with high range resolution is used to monitor the migration of insects at night. From the data collected by radar, not only can the migration intensity over time be acquired, but also the individual biological parameters can be extracted from the echoes of targets. The field experiment results show the effectivity of radar to collect the information about the aerial insects, which will provide a powerful database for entomologists to reveal the rule of insect migration.",
