摘要
The characters of the target echo of wideband down-looking radar and the method of determining cross-section of the echo's scatterers were analyzed. The characters of the echo of land clutter and the echo's probability density function and power spectrum were analyzed. A general model of radar signal simulator was advanced. A wideband down-looking radar signal simulator was realized by the control of the DMA of PC computer. The key problems of hardware and software implementations were resolved. The simulator has been used in the adjustment of a radar system and works very well.
