Design and Experiment Verification of Flywheel-based Kinetic Harvester

摘要

This paper presents a flywheel-based kinetic harvester, which uses an unidirectional rotating flywheel as an energy storage intermediary for the problem that general electromagnetic energy harvesters obtain energy as alternating current. In order to solve the flywheel parameter rectification problem in a small-sized space, an optimization model of the flywheel parameters is developed and solved. Experiments are carried out to verify the influence of the flywheel parameters on the performance of the energy harvester in a real environment. Finally, experiments show that the kinetic harvester has good power output performance at low frequency motion.
