摘要
The triggering discharges and the vacuum ultra-violet (VUV) radiation of the five-electrode alternating current plasma display panel (AC PDP) were investigated by fluid model simulations. The results show that after triggering discharge, the wall charges can be varied by adjusting the driving waveform, and the high wall voltage can be obtained. The ratio of 173 nm VUV to total VUV radiation is about 27%. It is useful to improve the efficiency of AC PDP.
