An improved self-adaptive algorithm of vehicle reference speeds for ABS

摘要

This paper summarizes the familiar algorithms of vehicle reference speeds for ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are compared. Then an improved self-adaptive algorithm is investigated. This algorithm can adjust the reference deceleration in time at every control cycle which is divided by the time when the system starts to increase pressure on ladder. This algorithm is implemented in the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) of the self-developed ABS and is tested by road experiment. Test results indicate the validity of this self-adaptive algorithm and show that the calculated reference speeds can meet the requirement of ABS control.
