Aggregation-Induced Emission and Applications of Aryl-Substituted Pyrrole Derivatives

摘要

The relationship between the structures and light-emitting properties of a series of aryl-substituted pyrroles was studied during aggregation. The analysis indicated that the restricted intramolecular rotation (RIR) effect was the main cause of the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) or aggregation-induced enhanced emission (AIEE) phenomena. With the introduction of carboxylic groups, triphenylpyrrole salts with AIE properties can be used as chemosensors for the high-sensitivity, high-selectivity, turn-on detection of Al3+ ions in aqueous solution.
