N2 - Highly reconfigurable software radio is a key technology in B3G/4G wireless communication systems. Realistic experimentation in such systems has contributed significantly to the research of wireless communication. With increasing computational requirement, distributed cluster and dedicated hardware are demanded in real system. In addition, lots of existing computing resources in different platforms scatter around many research institutions. In this paper, we propose a novel reconfig-urable software radio framework for accessing diverse computing resource in distributed nodes. Diverse computing resource is wrapped in a component, providing common interface. Dynamic reconfigurability is also supported in this framework by means of registered event for altering component parameter, which is described in XML file. Based on the proposed framework, we also present the radio application design flow, which facilitates implementation of a radio application, allowing researchers to make use of component in other platforms. The development of a realistic radio application is also presented to demonstrate the features and technique in this framework.
