摘要

To solve the problem of increasing bit error rate (BER) caused by signal nonlinear distortion caused by high peak to average power ratio (P APR) in optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OOFDM) system, an OOFDM system with optimized constellation extension (OCE) is proposed to reduce P APR. The scheme generates the extended constellation and uses the unique phase factor of the selected mapping (SLM) algorithm to further reduce the P APR. The results show that when the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) of PAPR is 10-3, the PAPR value of the proposed scheme is 3.07dB, 1.98dB, 0.56dB and 0.43dB lower than OFDM original, active constellation extension (ACE), conventional partial transmit sequence and conventional selected mapping, respectively, and the BER performance is improved.
