摘要

Due to the fast development and broad application of cloud computing, more and more applications have been or are planning to be transferred into clouds. Correspondingly, the so-called cloud databases which are deployed in clouds emerged and are currently leading the trend of database technology. Compared with traditional databases, cloud databases have the advantages of high scalability, high availability, etc. However, due to clouds' nature of openness and separation of data owner and administrator, cloud databases are facing high security risk. This paper proposes a framework of improving the security condition of cloud databases. The framework consists of a set of security techniques, including database transparent encryption, enhanced authentication and access control, and enhanced auditing. This framework could facilitate the application of cloud databases.
