摘要

Large eddy simulation is used to study the influence of three swirling structures of vane, axial/tangential and pure tangential on the flow, mixing and combustion characteristics of partially premixed swirl flames. The recirculation zone (IRZ) with a smaller swirl number of swirl flame with vane inlet is smaller and the mixing effect is poor, while the tangential swirl flame with a larger swirl number has a larger recirculation zone and good mixing effect. The distribution of the reaction zone and the high temperature zone is closely related to the characteristics of the recirculation zone and the mixing effect. A stable precessing vortex core (PVC) can be formed in burner with vane inlet, but not in axial/tangential and tangential swirl flames, which is the main factor of the difference in flow mixing and combustion characteristics.
