摘要
A new kind of carbon/carbon(C/C)honeycomb sandwich panels has been presented with the aim to make ultra-stable structures that could offer high-level stability requested by space high performances instruments. The C/C skin and C/C honeycomb are prepared by chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) and the organic joining technology is used to bond the C/C sandwich. The mechanical behaviors of the sandwich panels have been analyzed by the out-of-plane compression, in-plane compression and three-point bending experiments. The non-destructive testing method is used for testing the application conditions of the panels' inner quality. The thermal behaviors of the panels have been analyzed by the thermal conductivity and expansion tests. The results indicate that the C/C sandwich has a very low thermo-elastic sensitivity and the mechanical properties meet the background requirements. The C/C honeycomb's out-of-plane compression strength is greater than 10 MPa, the L/W shear strength is greater than 4 MPa, and the C/C sandwich's in-plane coefficient of thermal expansion is less than 1×10-7/℃.
