摘要
The penetration mechanism and attitude deflection of ogive-nosed projectile with elliptic cross-section obliquely perforating into double-layered thin steel plate with gap space are investigated. The double-layered ship-building steel plate with gap space were perforated by three kinds of projectiles with circular, elliptic and tapered-elliptic cross-sections labeled as C, E and TE projectiles at 30° in the experiment. The failure mode of thin steel plate and the flying data of projectiles were obtained by experiments. Based on the experimental results, the petal failure characteristics of thin steel plate perforated by three kinds of projectiles are compared and analyzed. The experiments in this paper are simulated numerically by the finite element code Abaqus, and the perforation process of double-layered thin steel plate impacted by TE projectile at different initial velocities and oblique angles (30°, 45°, 60°) are also investigated. Centroid trajectory and attitude deflection of projectile are discussed. The results show that the petalling damage on thin steel plate induced by ogive-nosed projectiles with elliptic and tapered-elliptic cross-sections is unsymmetrical, the ballistic limit velocity of TE projectile increases with the increase in the oblique angle, and the motions of TE projectile penetrating into steel plate at two typical attitudes are different.
