Abstract

This paper focuses on MIMO imaging radar weak vibration measurement technique, which can obtains vibrating target's two-dimension position and the vibration distributing situation of entire measured area. In vibrating calibrator experiments, we analyze the influence of target's vibrating parameters and radar system parameters. After experiments, we make some conclusions: Frequency measurement is more accurate and more robust than Amplitude measurement; vibrating amplitude is smaller, the amplitude measurement is worse; frequency is higher, the amplitude measurement is better; bandwidth and pulse repetition time (PRT) have no significant impact on vibration measurement; the size of target is smaller, the vibration measurement is worse.
