Abstract

A real-time wavefront signal processor using TM320C25 chip for processing was developed for a 21-unit H-S wavefront sensor to perform the sampling and processing of image-signal as well as the calculating of control-signal for wavefront correction with speed no less than 250 frame/s. The advantages of the system lie in that: (1) it has two image sampling and storing areas, so that both the image sampling and processing can be done at the same time; (2) it has the function of image display; (3) by using more storing areas and careful logic design, it is able to operate without waiting; (4) it is compact and can be inserted on the extension slot of microcomputer.
