Abstract

Direct torque control has been applied widely due to its simple arithmetic, quickly dynamic-response and well robust to the variation of parameter. Traditional DTC uses hexagon flux control or six-section circle-flux. When the voltage of stator resistance is considered, its section choice has defect. To deal with the defect of traditional six section control of voltage select table and the performance decline when stator flux is near the section line, the flux and torque formula are deducted to analyze the defect of traditional six section control of voltage select table under consideration of the voltage drop on the stator resistance, and twelve section control method of voltage select table and the implementation is presented. The theoretical and experimental analysis compares the performance of these two section control methods. The results of experiment and simulation verify the better performance of twelve section control method.
