Tri-section side-polished polarization maintaining fibre polarizer

Abstract

we propose a tri-section side-polished polarization maintaining fibre polarizer, and analyse the polarization mechanism theoretically. Experimental results show that the expectation of the output polarization extinction ratio of the polarizers is up to 32.45dB.
