Abstract

The oblique penetration test of projectile is designed to investigate the attitude variation of projectile obliquely penetrating into thin concrete target. The trajectory variation parameters in the process of that a projectile obliquely penetrates into the targets are got by using an high-speed photography system. On the basis of the previous research on the theoretical model of projectile oblique penetration and perforation into concrete target, the modified theoretical computational model of projectile obliquely penetrating into thin concrete target is deduced. The residual velocity and attitude angle of projectile which were obtained by the modified model are in good agreement with the experimental results.
