Abstract

In the processing of video image data, the data need to be stored and transferred to other functional units in or out of the system in real time. Especially in a complex system, it needs a special platform to store and transfer video image data in real time. This article presents a design of video image's storage converter based on FPGA. This storage converter can convert the video image data format. Its storage density is very high. It can communicate with personal computer, functional units in the system and functional units in other systems. The storage converter can also ensure the real time of video image data.
