Abstract

The traditional Multidimensional Parallel Combinatory Transform Domain Communication System (MPC-TDCS) receivers theoretically can achieve a considerably high spectrum efficiency with anti-interference capacity. However, the timing synchronization algorithm of the MPC-TDCS receivers limits the anti-interference capability of the receivers. In this paper, a new timing synchronization method for MPC-TDCS receivers to suppress narrowband interference is proposed which consists of the frequency domain anti-interference algorithms. The loss of signal to noise ratio of the proposed method is analyzed. Simulation results are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of suppressing narrowband interference with considerable loss of signal to noise ratio.
