Abstract

New cyclodextrin derived proteins were synthesized. β-cyclodextrin was linked to bovine serum albumin and pancreatin by using ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether as a cross linking agent in H3BO3 buffer (pH=8.7) at 37°C for 4 h and the derived proteins have bioactivity. Their structures were determined by FTIP and MALDI-TOFMS. These new derivatives can be used as chiral selectors for the separation of chiral compounds.
