Abstract

A simulation method is introduced to test laser detector. Firstly the target and background characteristics are analysed aim at certain laser proximity detector, the simulation algorithm of the detected target and background characteristics is presented Then accomplish the mathematic modeling, 3D visualization modeling and the target engagement modeling of the simulation. The simulation interface and program flow chart are designed tentatively. A graphics software platform of simulation based on OpenGL is created under Visual C++ 6.0 development workspace to realize visualization simulation and show the relationship between engagement status and output data. Modeling and simulation algorithm mentioned in this article is proved feasible by simulation experiment and to be an effective method to estimate the performance of laser detector.
