Abstract
In this paper, penetration of multi-layered stiffened plates is studied by using dimensional analysis. The dimensional formula of residual velocity with initial velocity, thickness of plate and height and width of stiffener is given. Based on numerical simulation, the parameters of the above formula were obtained. Comparison made between results presented by the formula and experimental ones indicates that both results are in better conformity.
