Abstract
In this letter, feature selection validation (FSV) technology is investigated to quantify the agreement between measured diffuse reflectivity of four kinds of samples (a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plate, a spray painted aluminum plate, a polished aluminum plate, and a plastic plate) and the corresponding Lambertian reflectance. Experimental results demonstrate that FSV can comprehensively illustrate the agreement between two sets of data relative to another traditional data matching method (the root mean square error analysis) and the diffuse reflectivity of PTFE plate is the most similar to the Lambertian reflectance compared with others.
