Abstract

A new graphic modeling method based on nodal network theory was introduced for modeling and designing such complicated branch form pipe network of lubrication system quickly. This modeling method only needs users to supply the original structure models, and hasn't the limits of the branched structure and the scale of model. During the detailed realization, the method provides some kinds of block units used to create various lubrication system models. The model's topological structure is established by identify the network of blocks in the model. In the end, the nodal functions is generated to solve. An application example demonstrates that the graphic modeling method is a kind of universal and easily programmed modeling method. The method can be expanded to other branch-shape flow network system.
