Abstract

By using system matrix method, the sensitivity sensitivities of natural frequency and vibration mode shape to moment of inertia and stiffness in non-damping free vibration of crankshaft torsional vibration system of IC engine were analyzed. Based on the sensitivity analysis of natural characteristics, a calculation method for torsional vibration system structural dynamic modification was presented. The sensitivities of natural frequency and vibration mode shape of a crankshaft torsional system were calculated and analyzed. Further, the dynamic modification was carried out and an improved scheme was presented.
