Abstract

Discusses the distinction among inactive Web pages, half-active Web pages and active Web pages, and provides a scheme of active homepage and Web page planning. With them active Web pages can be created based upon the content, time and type of the Web user. Furthermore, it expounds three implementation mechanisms with the foundation of database data information based on server application, server description script and client application. In addition, it gives the method of implementation using the Windows NT (Windows 2000) + ASP environment as an example. It also presents the most efficient solution scheme using the OOS(Oracle objects server) in the Windows NT (Windows 2000)+ASP+Oracle environment.
