Abstract

In this paper, a multi-level simulation model is developed based on the fact of property variation of the composites during the cure process. Take T800/epoxy resin system composite structure as an example, the effect of structural factor on cure deformation was studied in a building block approach, it is means first focus on laminate structure and then C shape stiffed plate, thirdly studied on the double I beam stiffed plate and finally concentrated on the full-size composite part. The effects of symmetry of layup, size, the distance and height of the stiffed plate on cure deformation were carefully elaborated during the analysis.
