T1 - Research on the key technologies of mass customization manufacturing system

N2 - Flexibility manufacturing system (FMS) and re-configurable manufacturing system (RMS) has gained more attention from the academy and industry. Mass customization manufacturing system (MCMS) synthesizes both features of the FMS and RMS. Firstly, the characteristics of MCMS, such as modularity, platform and scalability et al. are identified based on consideration of product family which is the results of the design for mass customization (DFMC). Secondly, MCMS inherits the features DFMC because of its disposing object: product family. The integrated process of DFMC and MCMS is researched and the concepts of product family are applied into the MCMS. Thirdly, the problem model of shop floor scheduling oriented to product family is put forwards by alteration of the traditional problem model. Finally, by accumulated the different precedence diagram of product member of the product family or different models into on single precedence diagram, the method transforms the balance problem of mixed model assembly as single model assembly line balancing problem. The key technologies of MCMS which uses product family as disposing object is researched and some advices have been presented for MCMS.
