Abstract

In order to explore the distribution of charging stations for EV in a certain area, the Central Place Theory and the deductive method are introduced into the research and the Distributed Model of Central Charging Stations (DMCCS in brief.) is built. According to the model, the hexagon balanced distribution pattern in the market principle is the most suitable, which is applied to the assumed distribution of charging stations in Beijing. Furthermore, the paper presents the advantages of charging stations in comparison with gas stations.
