Abstract

The internal fluid domain was simulated with volume FEM method, along with the whole engine's structural acoustic model, the acoustic fluid model for a V-type six-cylinder diesel engine was given, in which influence of involving lower crankcase's lubricating oil domain on the engine's structural radiating acoustic field was mainly discussed. Simulation results, such as structural radiation efficiency, sound pressure level, and so on, shows that the lubricating oil domain will influence the distributing pattern of amplitudes in frequency domain, and should be taken in account in the simulating process.
