Abstract

The digital interface is the medium for human-computer interaction. Since the digital interface of meteorological cloud radar is of numerous terms and strong professionalism., the rationality of digital interface design is becoming one of the significant factors reducing the cognitive load of users in human-computer interaction and affecting the performance of the product. Based on the design practice., this paper analyzes the existing defects of the cloud radar interface through process analysis and user feedback., and optimizes the interface design based on cognitive load theory. It was verified that the new design effectively reduced the users' cognitive load through the eye movement experiment from aspects of fixation time., completion time., pupil diameter and NASA-TLX cognitive load 6-dimensional scale. On this basis., the design method for the human-computer interaction of the meteorological weather radar is further refined and summarized, which contributes a reference for interface design in this field.
