Abstract

To implement business process management in virtual enterprises, a kind of new workflow control model was proposed by introduction of Agent. In this model, message forwarding among task execution agents were used to implement dynamic partitioning of distributed workflow. Evaluation of precondition for tasks in workflow was implemented by evaluating workflow engine. Workflow dependence was evaluated in two stages by the workflow execution and control algorithm at task Agent so as to avoid unnecessary dependence evaluation and information transmission. It could effectively accomplish distributed workflow control for virtual enterprises.
