Abstract

The theoretical model and method for determining Jones-Wilkins-Lee (JWL) state equation parameters of un-reacted explosive were proposed according to its experimental shock Hugoniot data and the ZND detonation model, in which the conservation relationship and initial condition of shock wave front, the Von Neumann peak condition of CJ detonation, and the tangent relationship between initial sound velocity line and isentropic line were taken into account. The JWL state equation parameters of un-reacted PBXC03 explosive were determined by using the genetic algorithms, which provides the basic data for simulating the shock initiation and detonation of PBXC03 explosive.
