Abstract

A kind of APU scheme is determined for REEVs. Dynamic models of engine, generator and controllers are built. An experiment platform is built to verify the accuracy of models. Based on vehicle accelerating condition, the simulation of generator toque control and current control was analyzed, of which the results showed that toque control was better than current control on engine speed tracking.
