Abstract
A type of Raman fiber amplifier (RFA) with flexibly configured bandwidth was designed, and the pump sources and the driver circuits were used as cards. It used different bands to enlarge different signal-bandwidth, and enhanced amplification efficiency of RFA. Experiment results show that the bandwidth could be flexibly adjusted between 1520 nm and 1610 nm. And the largest gain is 16.4 dB, and the gain ripple is kept within 1.3 dB.
