Abstract

Protecting quantum dots from environmental erosion is the key to the success of their application in LED. Here, we report a sol-gel processed quantum dots-silica monolith (QD - SM) with enhanced stability from alcohol soluble quantum dots. On-chip type LED with luminous efficiency up to 80.25 lm/W was fabricated using such QD - SM.
