Abstract

This paper reports the synthesized fluoride infrared up-conversion material PbxNayYz F2x+y+3z+3m:Erm3+ sensitive to 1 550 nm by LCS method and its characteristic analysis. The effects of the content of cations and the amount of fuel on the luminescence properties were studied through orthogonal experiments. The measures of X-ray diffractometer, field emission scanning electron microscope and fluorescence spectrometer coupled with a 1 550 nm laser were used to test and characterize the samples' phase, morphology and luminescence properties, respectively. The results show that, the element of cation content that affects the red emission intensity is Y3+, Pb2+, Na+, Er3+ in sequence, the optimum formula is Pb0.004Na0.003 Y0.003 F0.032:Er0.0043+, and the optimum amount of carbamide fuel is 2.5 stoi.
