Abstract

A kind of sol-gel columns with 2,3,6-tri-O-propyl-β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) - as stationary phase was studied. The optimum conditions of preparing 2,3,6-tri-O-propyl-β-CD columns were also determined, the conditions include three aspects, namely concentration of stationary phase, the quantity of trifluoroacetic acid and reaction time. The concentration of stationary phase can range between 0.120 and 0.150 g/mL, The quantity of trifluoroacetic acid and dichloromethane is 0.05 ml and 0.8 mL respectively. Reactant stays in stirrer for about 40 min, and reaction time in column is about 30 min. Then a wonderful gas chromatographic solgel columns can be gotten.
