Abstract
Binary chaotic sequences were applied into two coherent optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) systems. The security of transmission is increased. The formula of BER is derived and the curves of BER are reported versus the number of simultaneous transmissions. The numerical simulations show that systems based on chaotic sequences outperform that using Gold sequence.
