Abstract

Since the vector of angular momentum of ESG has the intrinsic characteristic to maintain the fixed direction in the inertial space, it may be regarded as a fixed star. The astronavigation algorithm was used to estimate the azimuthal angle and the gyro constant drift, and an analysis was also made on the factors that influence the estimation accuracy of azimuthal angle of ESG north-seeking instrument.
