Abstract

This paper is concerned with the problem of robust stability of uncertain neutral systems with discrete and distributed delays. The uncertainties under consideration are assumed to be time-varying but norm bounded. By introducing a new form of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional which contains some novel triple-integral terms, improved discrete-, distributed-, and neutral-delay-dependent stability conditions are obtained and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Numerical examples are given to show that the proposed method is effective and leads to less conservative results than the existing ones.
