Abstract

This paper presents a vision based ball and plate system equipped with a standard Brio Labyrinth Game. Automatic tracking in the maze is achieved with vision feedback. The system captures and extracts the visual features of the maze, and generates maze path. The position and velocity of the ball in image space are obtained automatically. The two axes of the plate are adjusted to realize the ball tracks the maze path and avoid the obstacles, and reaches the target position. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the system.
