Abstract

Reaction rate equation is the key in the simulation of the process of damaged explosives' shock initiation. This equation is calibrated by Lagrange analysis on the basis of the results of impact damage and shock initiation experiments. Their results showed that the sensitivity increased in damaged explosives. Relations between the degree of damage and reaction rate equation were brought out.
