Numerical simulation of a shaped charge jet

Abstract

Based on the Euler algorithm of multi-material in a cell, a code M-MMIC2D using C++ is compiled and the process of formation of a V shaped charge is numerically simulated. The final results are shown in animated-cartoon mode with the visualization software VISC2D. The simulation results turn out to be in full agreement with the physical principle. Thus the study indicates that the model and algorithm presented are logical and the method of simulation can be used for the project design of warheads.
