Novel realization of synchronized non-coherent blinking jamming

Abstract

In order to improve the performance of blinking jamming against monopulse seeker, a novel realization of blinking jamming based on two jammers transmitting simultaneously the jamming signal is proposed. Establishing two angle measurement models for different blink jammers to study the result that energy ratio affects the performance of blinking jamming. Elements affecting the performance of blinking jamming against monopulse seeker is analyzed. The results of simulation indicated that this novel realization could obviously delay the monopulse seeker in distinguishing targets, leading to more miss distance of the missile.
